The objective of the advertising concentration
is to prepare students for entry-level positions
in one or more of the four basic advertising
activities: creative (copy, layout design),
media planning and buying, research, and management.
Students are provided with knowledge and skills
needed for work with an advertiser, advertising
agency, the print and broadcast media, or support
service industry.
