| Melissa Ann McNeil Melissa Ann McNeil is the 2004 Executive Director of Comm Week, will graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from California State University, Fullerton, with a concentration in Public Relations, and a minor in Human Communication, in Spring 2004. She will graduate Cum Laude. Melissa received her Associate of Arts in Communications at Orange Coast College in Spring 2002. At Orange Coast College Melissa competed on the Forensics Team for two years. In 2001 her team was first place in the state of California, and in 2002 her team was first place in the nation. Melissa walked with gold and silver medals from both the state and national tournament. At Orange Coast College, Melissa received a Gold Leadership Award, and the Peg Taylor’s Award for Excellence in Forensics. At CSUF Melissa is member of the PRSSA, and has also participated in the CHAMP program. CHAMP stands for College Headed And Mighty Proud, and teaches elementary school children the path to higher education. Melissa is currently interning at Warner Bros. Records in the publicity department, and has also done an internship/PR campaign with Olive Crest. Melissa’s work experience includes professional princess. Five nights a week she entertains thousands of guests at Disneyland in a show known as Fantasmic. She has been working for Disney for five years, and still loves every minute of it. Working in such a large production has taught her how to work as a team player in order to reach a larger goal. This is something she brings with her to all areas of her life. |
