Monique Macalinao

Monique is a 21-year-old senior at California State University, Fullerton. She has is expected to graduate from the College of Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations with a minor in Radio, TV, Film, in the spring of 2005.

She is currently the Outreach Coordinator of CSUF PRSSA, the Robert E. Rayfield Chapter, and she was recently elected to be next year’s vice-president. Monique is on the SOAR/CICC board, as a PRSSA representative, and she helped the chapter receive more than $3000 from the SOAR/CICC board. In addition, she is the Publicity Director for the CSUF Television and Film Society.

In 2001, Phi Eta Sigma, the honor society, recognized Monique for her academic achievements. In addition, she was on the Dean’s List in 2002 and is currently a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society.

Outside of school and her extra curricular activities, Monique works at In-N-Out Burger. She has worked there for more than 3 years and is now the Store Trainer.

Monique enjoys spending time with her 4-year-old, Isaiah, and fiancé, Carlos. Last summer, Monique and Carlos were the coaches for Isaiah’s baseball team. In addition, they both play on the same co-ed softball team.
