Josh Lieber, Associate Creative Director

Debbie Lavdas When Josh was six, he asked his dad how much it cost to write a TV commercial. His dad laughed and responded, “Josh, they pay you!” Thus began a lifelong love affair with Advertising.

After graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Minnesota, Josh landed his first job at Lintas: New York, working on diet Coke, IBM and MasterCard. He went on to work at other notable agencies including Bates USA, Ignited Minds, and Kovel/Fuller, where he served as vice-president and helped win a slew of new accounts for the agency.

Josh is one of the few “hybrid” writers who excels in both the traditional and interactive space. His integrated and award-winning campaigns for clients like Activision, Hyundai, and THQ have garnered both creative acclaim and outstanding results. It was his offbeat advertising style that helped rocket more than two dozen videogames to #1, including 13 of the top sellers of all time — earning $billions for his clients. He is also credited with generating the fastest downloaded videogame in history, with more than a million downloads in just days.

In addition to Advertising, Josh is a produced Screenwriter, having attended graduate school at the prestigious American Film Institute. He has sold and optioned scripts to TriStar, Disney, and several others. His most recent film, Missing Brendan, stars Adam Brody and can be seen on the Lifetime Channel.

Josh is currently the Interactive ACD at Young & Rubicam Brands in Irvine, CA.
