Senior Manager, Communications & Media Relations. With more than five years of experience in communications, Lourdes' responsibilities at The Recording Academy include the overall strategic public relations of The Academy's 12 Chapters programs and initiatives.

Lourdes also manages genre and diversity outreach particularly for the Latin GRAMMYs and its projects. Since joining The Academy, Lourdes has provided public relations support for all GRAMMY Week events including the red carpet as well as GRAMMY Foundation and MusiCares initiatives.

Lourdes has been involved in various community-based organizations including the Latino Film Festival, Revlon Walk for Cancer, Super Saturday LA-Ovarian Cancer, and LA Kids Read Festival and is a member of the Hispanic Public Relations Association and Entertainment Publicist Professional Society.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism with an emphasis in public relations and a minor in marketing from California State University of Northridge.
