Timothy graduated from San Francisco State University with a B.A. in Lighting Design and a minor in Journalism, completing an internship at Lucasfilm Ltd.

After receiving his degree he moved to Southern California to work in the entertainment industry, from loading film on movie sets to shooting documentary television in the Pacific Northwest and the Middle East.

Tim’s first job in news was as a photojournalist for KESQ in Palm Springs. Tim helped to build and operate a cable news station in the Inland Empire working as photojournalist, editor, assignment desk and newscast director. Tim returned to KESQ two years later to serve as Assignment Manager and most recently was promoted to Assistant News Director.

Timothy is currently serving as a board member for the Associated Press Television and Radio Association and serves on the Coachella Valley Economic Partnership’s Arts Media and Entertainment Council.
