  • Faculty Web Space

Faculty Web Space

We provide web space to all faculty at the College of Communications.
The URL address to faculty web space would be http://commfaculty.fullerton.edu/FacultyUsername
We help faculty to set up a website and provide them with a quick tour on how to edit their web space with a web editing tool such as Dreamweaver, FrontPage, or iWeb. Or we continually maintain their website as they request.
In order to create a Web space, faculty need to send a work request including all information to be posted to their website and a picture for the college directory to Web Services Administrator. We will reply to these requests within 2-3 days, and depending on our work-load, we will complete these work requests within an additional 2-3 days.

  • Student Web Space

We provide web space to students who are enrolled in a web creation course at the College of Communications. These web spaces must be used only for a course's web related project, and they will be deleted at the end of each semester.
Student Website The URL address to student web space will be http://commstudents.fullerton.edu/(Student Username).
In order to set up student web spaces, faculty need to send a work request along with a list of students enrolled in the class to Web Services Administrator.
Information required for a web space request are faculty name, course name and number, a list of student first name, last name, CSUF campus ID number (CWID), and CSUF campus email. We will create web spaces for all students and send the faculty a list of username and password for each student to access their web spaces. This service will require about 5-working days to be completed.

  • Clubs/Organizations Web Space

We provide web support and web space to all student clubs and organizations at the College of Communications. A list of student clubs and organizations could be found at http://commstudents.fullerton.edu/studentorganizations/

  • Audio/Video streaming service

Audio/Video Streaming

We can convert and digitalize your video captured lectures and stream them over the web or thru podcast. Currently we offer video/audio streaming in Window Media player, Quicktime, or podcast formats. For more information please contact Web Services Administrator.

  • Network File-Sharing

We offer some limited file-sharing and network based file-sharing and storage. Please contact Web Services Administrator for more information about this service.

  • Special Project

We help faculty in setting up special web projects to assist in their research. We can help set up online surveys or simulations software etc. Please contact Web Services Administrator for more information about this service.
