of the Year
CONTEST
There are three Categories - Best Single Image, Best Personal Work, and Fullerton Flying Short Course College Photographer of the Year. There will be a first, second and third place winner for each of the three divisions. First place for the Fullerton Short Course College Photographer of the Year is a PAID, two-week internshp at the Orange County Register.
1. Best Single Image: This can be any single image from any category such as news, features, sports, portraits, etc. You may submit up to three single images. No photo stories.
2. Best Personal Work: Here’s your chance to stretch your limits. From photojournalism to fashion to fine art photography, submit up to three images (photo stories count as one image) that display your personal creativity and style.
3. Fullerton Flying Short Course College
Photographer of the Year:
First Prize is a two-week, PAID internship
at the Orange County Register, and is for college students carrying
at least 6 units. Send
your portfolio of 10 -20 images, including a photo story. (FFSCCPY).
Prizes in all categories include copies of Photo Mechanic, Think Tank camera bag systems and much, much more!
CONTEST RULES
File info for each image must include caption information, but DO NOT include
your name. Name each image as 01, 02,…10 etc. In addition, type all
captions, your name, and contact information on a separate sheet of paper.
Please number your captions on this separate sheet to match each image number.
HOW TO SUBMIT
Save images onto a CD. Create a separate folder for each contest you enter.
For example, if you enter all three contests, you should have three folders
labeled as Best Single Image, Best Personal Work, and FFSCCPY. If you enter
two contests, you should have two folders, and so forth. Place your entries
into each folder accordingly.
Send your CD and a separate sheet of paper that includes your typed name, contact information, and captions to:

We will notify you by email when we receive your entry. If you do not receive notification within a week of sending it, please contact us.
