Our department is one of the largest in the western
United States, and one of the three largest in the nation.
We are located in the center of the nation’s second
largest media market and at the hub of television and
film production. Our 225-acre campus which lies in coastal
Southern California’s Orange County, is 30 miles
southeast of Los Angeles. The university is part of
the 23-campus California State University system, the
largest in the United States.
California State University, Fullerton is a large,
comprehensive, urban university with more than 2,000
full- and part-time faculty and a diverse student body
of approximately more than 37,000. The university offers
a broad spectrum of programs, with 55 baccalaureate
and 50 master's degrees in liberal arts and sciences
and in applied and professional fields and a joint doctorate
in education. Learning is preeminent at Cal State Fullerton.
