Dear Graduates:
Congratulations on your impending graduation from the
College of Communications at California State University,
Fullerton. Graduation from college marks a significant
time in your life as you pause and reflect upon all
of the hard work and time you committed. Thus, we hope
you will join your faculty and fellow students as we
honor you and other graduating students at the annual
commencement ceremony on June 1, 2002.
Commencement is an important and joyous occasion filled
with pageantry and academic tradition. You have worked
hard to earn the rights and privileges that accompany
your success. We invite you and those who have supported
and encouraged you during your studies to share in the
celebration of your accomplishment.
You and your supporters are encouraged to attend the
all-university ceremony that features a university speaker
and honors all graduates of CSUF. Immediately following
that ceremony, the College of Communications will hold
its own ceremony during which all graduates from the
Department of Communications, Radio-TV-Film and Speech
Communication will be recognized.
Members of the university commencement committee have
developed a website with detailed information regarding
this special event. You can access it here. As a new
graduate, we encourage you to stay connected by visiting
our website regularly.
All of us in the College of Communications wish you
great success and happiness in your future endeavors.
Sincerely,
Rick D. Pullen, Dean
Fred Zandpour, Associate Dean
Peggy Garcia Bockman, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs
