In 1998, he was awarded a Pulitzer Prize for "Angels
& Demons," a seven-part serial that chronicled
a mother and her daughters who were murdered in Tampa
Bay. Other projects are "13," a series about
the secret lives of seventh-graders, and "The Exorcist
in Love," a story about a mother exploring the
paranormal.
Recently, he was on a team that worked on "The
Hard Road," a series about the case of an elementary
schoolteacher accused in a fatal hit-and-run.
French will speak at this year’s
