RTVF Student Achievements

NEWSThe 24 content that Vinay Chand submitted has been chosen by Fox and will be immortalized on the "24: Season 5 DVD Rom." He took Professor Frost's "Directing Film and TV" course during the summer of 2005. As for the final project, students were assigned to recreate a scene from a movie or a dramatic TV show. Vinay Chand chose "24."

Vinay called up the offices of 24 to get the exact location. “I had actors lined up to play the parts of Ryan Chapelle and Jack Bauer, but all dropped out. Stephen Lewis Johnson and I had to double up as actors.” Vinay said. Vinay acted, directed and edited the project. Stephen Lewis Johnson helped a great deal with the editing and story boards. “Without him, the project would not have been possible.” Vinay said.

The recreation is from Season 3, Episode 18, 6 AM- 7 AM, the very final moments of the episode where Jack Bauer executes Ryan Chappelle.
