Internship Enrollment Requirements

Students may add the internship course online after a permission code has been issued electronically based on their attendance at a mandatory internship orientation. 

If you are not able to add the class and have met all of the prerequisites below, please contact the faculty internship coordinator for your major.

Universal Prerequisites

All students muss meet the following requirements to enroll in the 495 Internship class.

  • Declared major/concentration within the College of Communications
  • Junior or Senior standing with 60+ units completed
  • A GPA of 2.25 or higher in CSUF, Cumulative, and Major
  • Attend a mandatory internship orientation prior to enrollment
  • Must have completed all the prerequisite courses associated with your major/concentration (see below) before taking the internship class
  • Students MAY NOT take a prerequisite course concurrently with their internship class
