EXECUTIVE BOARD MEMBER QUALIFICATIONS

  • All position terms are held from July 1, 2022, to June 30, 2023.
  • College of Communications major or minor (undergraduate or graduate student)
  • An elected official may not hold an representative or executive board member positions in any of the various College of Communications clubs or organizations and shall not hold an officer position within ASI.
  • Undergraduate students must earn six (6) semester units of credit per term while holding office. Graduate student officers must earn three (3) semester units of credit per term while holding office.
  • All candidates, officers, and appointees must be in good academic standing, must not be on academic probation, and must have earned a CSUF semester grade point average of 2.0 and a CSUF cumulative grade point average of 2.5 for all classes at CSUF at the end of the semester before taking office and during their tenure. Failure to maintain these requirements will result in immediate ineligibility.
  • The executive board member must attend weekly council meetings, Mondays at 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m. (Fall/Spring).
  • The executive board must meet weekly for a 1-hr E-board meeting (time determined by the incoming E-board).
  • The Chair and Vice Chair have a 30 minute weekly 1:1 with the advisor.  The DOA, DOP, and DCOM have biweekly 30minute 1:1s with the advisor.
