Public Relations Student Society Of America
General Information About Our Organization:
The Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) at California State University, Fullerton is the leading pre-professional organization for students to jump-start their careers in communications and public relations.
CSUF retains the highest membership of all PRSSA chapters on the West Coast. PRSSA is also the largest on-campus student-run communications organization. Our members are exposed to all facets and intricacies of the public relations profession through a comprehensive program that includes speaker events, career tours, mixers and more.
PRSSA is the only student-run organization affiliated with a professional chapter. This enables our members to transition seamlessly to the professional organization (PRSA) after graduation. PRSSA operates a student-run public relations firm that provides students to real-world experiences in areas such as social media management, red carpets, writing and more.
Founded by Robert E. Rayfield in 1968, CSUF PRSSA fosters nearly 200 members and continues to grow year-over-year. California State University, Fullerton ranks as one of the largest and most successful PRSSA chapters internationally.
