Students For Smiles

CSUF Students for Smiles is a student organization dedicated to bringing awareness of cleft lip and palate to the community while raising funds for Smile Train, an international non-profit charity providing corrective cleft surgeries to children in 85+ developing countries. A cleft lip and palate is a common birth condition that occurs when there is an opening or split in the lip or roof of mouth. Having a baby born with cleft can affect family, feeding, school performance, social interactions, and self-perception. With the help and support of our members, Students for Smiles has funded over 13 surgeries.
