Faryha Salim ’04 (B.A. speech communication) and ’09 (M.A. speech communication) is on her way to conduct research in Bahrain as a Fulbright Scholar. The Mission Viejo resident, who plans to pursue a doctorate after her yearlong fellowship, said her research focuses on the stories of Bahraini women entrepreneurs. Students and alumni interested in applying for a Fulbright fellowship are invited to attend a 4 p.m. Aug. 28 orientation meeting in Room 815B of the Humanities-Social Sciences Building.
