Annette Macias is the Corporate Director of Public Relations for Citrus Valley Health Partners – a nonprofit health system in eastern Los Angeles County.
Her responsibilities include both internal and external communications, such as engaging the local media as a spokesperson for the system; overseeing the organization’s social media presence and website; developing marketing collateral and ad campaigns for hospital service lines; writing press releases; and planning community outreach events.
Annette is a former reporter and editor with the Los Angeles Times’ Community News sections. She has covered crime and courts, education and features for a variety of publications including The Glendale News-Press, Newport Beach/Costa Mesa Daily Pilot and the Westside Weekly. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications, with an emphasis in Journalism, from Cal State Fullerton and is a former executive editor of The Daily Titan. Annette is also a multi-published romance author.
