Marc Stein

Marc Stein (1991, Communications/Journalism) Marc Stein has covered the NBA for nearly a quarter-century and joined ESPN as a senior writer starting with the 2002-03 season after stints with several major newspapers. His current work as an NBA reporter appears throughout the ESPN family of networks, from ESPN.com to SportsCenter to ESPN Radio. He worked as a sports correspondent at The Orange County Register during his entire four-year run as a student at CSUF (1987-91), became just the second CSUF student to earn a Washington Post internship, in 1990, and went on to writing posts with The San Bernardino Sun, Los Angeles Daily News and Dallas Morning News before his national move to ESPN. After graduating from El Toro High School in 1987, Stein spent six semesters as a writer and editor for The Daily Titan.
