Opening Plenary Panel 2017: The State of Latino/Hispanic Media and Marketing:

Key industry leaders from across the media and marketing spectrum will participate in this year’s opening plenary session entitled “The State of Latino/Hispanic Media and Marketing” at the 6th Hispanic/Latino Media & Marketing International Conference. The panel includes representatives from the Association of Hispanic Advertising Agencies (AHAA), Hispanic Public Relations Association (HPRA), National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ) and the National Association of Latino Independent Producers (NALIP).  These industry-leading Hispanic media and marketing organization panelists will discuss the current state of the industry, the challenges they face with competition and in connecting to stakeholders and their communities, opportunities they see in the near future, and the job outlook for each of their respective industries.

The 2017 conference will also feature:

  • Luncheon presentation by Nielsen entitled “From the Ballot Box to the Grocery Store: A 2016 Perspective on Growing Hispanic Influence in America”.  As a leader in consumer behavior tracking, Nielsen will present the latest trends in Hispanic demographics, consumption and media behaviors including a close look at the Latino electorate.
