GLOBAL COMMUNICATIONS WORKSHOP PDF File

The Global Communications Workshop (GCW) combines hands-on applied media skill training, digital story-telling, language instruction and practice, as well as a rich cultural experience on the campus of Cal State Fullerton, which is located in beautiful southern California near Disneyland and many of Orange County’s best beaches. These interactive components combine to train students in digital story telling while developing English language skills, and if desired preparation for taking the TOEFL. Students in this program are required to produce video documentaries that include interviews in English and with English voice-overs. Field trips for video production can include Los Angeles, Hollywood, Santa Monica, Huntington Beach, Laguna Beach, Downtown Disney as well as other locations. Additional course content can also include courses in public relations, customer service, entartainment management and tourism promotions and management.

HOLLYWOOD FILM WORKSHOP (HFWPDF File)PDF File

The Hollywood Film Workhop (HFW) integrates creative, production, and distribution elements to provide a complete picture of successful Hollywood films. Elements include extensive lectures by experienced faculty, hands-on training by industry experts, and visits with vendor executives. Come to the Global Film Workshop (HFW) to learn how Hollywood movies are written, produced, and distributed. Get hands on experience in developing a story and script. Visit studios, production houses, and media technology vendors. Enjoy a rich cultural experience on the campus of Cal State University Fullerton located in beautiful southern California near Disneyland, Hollywood, great shopping, and many of Orange County’s best beaches.
