Communications Graduate Students Plan Doctoral Degrees, Reunite at Conference

Three graduates of the Master of Arts degree program in Communications attended the annual conference of the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC), held in Minneapolis in early August, 2016. Each plans to pursue a Ph.D. degree, as well. 

Christina Jimenez Najera presented a paper at the conference titled, “What Works at Work: An Analysis of Micromanagement in the Workplace.” She originally wrote the paper for her COMM 525 graduate class, Advanced Communications Management, with r. Andi Stein. Christina works at ABC and plans to start a doctoral program next fall. 

Farnosh Mazandarani is starting her Ph.D. program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill this fall. 

Terri Manley is in her second year of the Ph.D. program at Texas Tech University, Lubbock.
