LCI ALUMNI AWARDS NIGHT
On Wednesday, Sept. 9, 5-8 p.m. PT , the Latino Communications Institute (LCI) will host its second annual alumni awards night. The keynote speaker at this free, virtual event will be Jean Guerrero , an award-winning investigative journalist and author of Hatemonger: Stephen Miller, Donald Trump and the White Nationalist Agenda . Her first book, Crux: A Cross-Border Memoir , won a PEN Literary Award. Ms. Guerrero is an Emmy-winning border reporter, contributing to NPR, the PBS NewsHour and more. The event will be emceed by ABC7/LA community journalist and COMM alumnus Eric Resendiz . The event also includes opportunity drawings for autographed copies of Ms. Guerrero’s books! Register here .
