COMD students at the Flying Samaritan clinic in Mexico.
Each month, several students volunteering in audiology volunteer at the Flying Samaritans Hearing Clinic in Rosarito, Mexico. Under the supervision of an audiologist and part-time COMD faculty member, Dr. Grijalva, students provide audiological services to patients. The services include counseling sessions, hearing aid fittings, and hearing examinations. The Flying Samaritans Hearing Clinic is open to patients who often travel from great distances and typically do not have access to these services otherwise.
