S.T.A.N.C.E at the Discoverfest

S.T.A.N.C.E.

The student organization, Student Speech Therapists and Audiologists Nurturing Cultural Enrichment, (S.T.A.N.C.E.) participated in the Discoverfest on Sept 5 and 6 on campus. Their mission is to promote awareness of issues pertaining to diversity and multiculturalism in the field of Communication Sciences and Disorders. The Executive Board members answered questions of students, signed up new members and updated returning members on new events for the year including guest speakers from a variety of backgrounds, collaborative events with other campus organizations and community engagement/volunteer opportunities.
