American Sign Language Variety show

Part-time lecturers, Jeff Lubman (in the picture) and David Thompson organized an America Sign Language Variety Show in the TSU Theater on Saturday March 7, 2020. This event was cohosted with NSSHLA members including former President, Mr. Christopher Quintana. This event drew the deaf community together including local high-school and community college students. Three of the students enrolled in COMD 302, Introduction to sign language participated in the program. The event was a great success and resulted in donating some of the funds to Peace Over Violence (Deaf, Disabled and Elder service) and Pacific Coast Deaf Golf Club.
