Students for Smiles Fundraising Plant Night

Plant night was set to be the biggest fundraiser of the year of a student club (Students for Smiles), plants were donated, supplies purchased, venue set, and plant instructor scheduled. Then we are doing stay-at-home due to COVID-19. Not to be deterred, the E-board came up with a new plan, discussed with their faculty advisor, Ms. Therese Cooper (shown in the left picture), and made it quarantine safe and they were beyond successful. They made enough to fund 2 surgeries ($500)! They put together the cute bags with all materials included (shown in the right picture), split up all the people on the list and delivered the bags, with gloves and masks, to everyone’s house. They then did an Instagram live video to teach everyone how to put together terrariums.
