CONGRATULATIONS, SHEILA MATHEW!

Sheila Mathew is a first-year graduate student of speech-language pathology (SLP) at the California State University, Fullerton (CSUF). Prior to her career change to SLP, she worked in the management field for over 3 years. She also taught English in the rural parts of South Korea and spent a year traveling around Asia. She holds a B.A. degree in International Relations from the University of California, Irvine, and have always had a great interest in global cultures, languages, and politics. She is excited to represent CSUF on the national stage, where she will serve on the executive board of National NSSLHA (National Student Speech Language and Hearing Association) as the VP for Government Affairs and Public Policy from 2021-2023.
