Outstanding undergraduates representing five student clubs associated with the Communication Sciences and Disorders Department celebrated their Welcome Back. The Titan Student Union Pub was the place Friday evening, September 8! Club members from NSSHLA ( National Student Speech Language Hearing Association ); STANCE ( Student Speech Therapists and Audiologists Nurturing Cultural Enrichment ); Students For Smiles ( an international non-profit charity providing corrective cleft surgeries to children ); SAA ( Student Academy of Audiology that educates the public about hearing loss); and the AAC Club ( Augmentative & Alternative Communication Club , that educates the public on current voiced-output assistive technology/digital communication tools), got together to rally, recruit, and collaborate to make sure everyone, anywhere, and anytime, can communicate effectively no matter what their disAbility!
