Professor Henley joined CSUF in 2024. His clinical background is in medical speech pathology, specifically adult rehabilitation, was a clinical instructor in medical settings from 2013 to 2019, and is a certified brain injury specialist (CBIS). Professor Henley has taught at the college level since 2017, instructing in organic speech disorders, voice disorders, and adult language pathology. His research interests are in traumatic brain injury, concussion, and the brain health of adolescents. Professor Henley’s PhD was conducted in health sciences, exploring concussion and head impact exposure in teenaged rugby players.
