Over winter break, Carolyn Coal accompanied AdClub's executive board members to two of New York's biggest ad agencies, Droga5 and Outfront Media. AdClub alum, Josue Rodriguez (2015) hosted the club on a two-hour tour of Droga5 and its onsite production arm, Second Child. The tour was followed by a presentation and Q&A with ad execs and producers who showed case studies and previews of new campaigns.
At Outfront Media, the board got a sneak peek at the agency's newly unveiled media center, which replicates the consumer's interactive experience with out of home ads and public transit. Both agencies shared internship opportunities with the group and encouraged the board to apply. Next year the club hopes to visit Chicago agencies.
