Former Daily Titan editor honored by Basketball Hall of Fame

Former Daily Titan editor honored

Former Daily Titan editor Marc Stein (pictured on the right in the photo above) was honored by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Stein, along with longtime Los Angeles Clippers play-by-play broadcaster Ralph Lawler (pictured left), received the 2019 Curt Gowdy Media Award for their contributions as media members to the sport of basketball.

Stein, who earned his B.A. in Communications at CSUF in 1991, held several different editor position with the Daily Titan, including Sports Editor and Editor-in-Chief. Stein, currently with the New York Times, has covered the NBA since 1994. He has worked for several local and national media outlets, including the Los Angeles Daily News, Dallas Morning News and most notably ESPN.
