Emily Erickson is a professor at California State University, Fullerton. An award-winning teacher and researcher, her focus is on communication law. She has published journal and law review articles on defamation, copyright, right of publicity, student speech, access to public records and First Amendment jurisprudence. Professor Erickson is a native Californian, but has lived, studied and taught across the nation — including Seattle, McMinnville, Syracuse, Tuscaloosa and Baton Rouge. Her professional background includes work in both public relations and graphic design.
