The Entertainment and Tourism Club (ETC) gives students the opportunity to network with entertainment and tourism industry professionals. On September 14, 2022, ETC hosted their Fall Kickoff event. Students who attended Wednesday’s meeting met new and returning members, networked with one another, participated in icebreakers and games, and met Entertainment and Tourism CSUF alumni, Haley Neves and Kristen Oliveri.
Neves works as a Global Franchise Marketing & Management Associate at Warner Bros. Entertainment and Oliveri works as a Trip Support Coordinator for Destination America. They answered general questions about their career, how they landed their job, and gave advice to students interested in entering the entertainment and tourism industries.
ETC is open to all majors, and they are offering a $40 membership fee which covers both Fall and Spring semesters. Included in the membership is free entry to their Annual Spring Mixer and member-exclusive workshops, networking with professional panelists, networking workshops, and exclusive backstage tours and TV taping opportunities. ETC meetings are usually on Wednesdays from 7pm-9pm.
