AdClub is a CSUF campus club that offers students with an interest in advertising an opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and begin to network and form connections with professionals in the industry. AdClub welcomes anyone who is interested in advertising and accepts students from all majors. AdClub has a $20 fee for each semester that provides members with food and beverages, as well as funds a trip to visit an advertising firm.

On September 28th, AdClub hosted a creative panel with three CSUF alumni. Justine Eisner, an AdClub alumni and UCI web and graphic designer walked students through her creative career path and how her path isn’t always linear. Nicolette Pindeda, a freelance art director and designer explained what it’s like being a freelancer, along with budgeting freelance salaries to make self-employment doable. Andalee Hyatt, a creative director and freelancer within the advertising industry, shared how important it is to be specific about your goals, never stop learning and that it’s always a good idea to learn a secondary skill to really stand out.

Adclub meetings are held every other Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at the TSU Alvarado.
