Cal State Fullerton’s Entertainment and Tourism Club (ETC) held its Sports Entertainment Panel at the TSU Pavilion on October 5th from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Students of ETC gained insight from the all-women panel about entertainment and tourism within the sports industry.
Cindy Robinson, the senior social media specialist at ESPN, explained how people should begin their job search by reaching out to employers. Camille Maciel, a fan development marketing coordinator for the Anaheim Ducks and LA Galaxy, showed the students how volunteering at their dream company could lead them to a dream job.
Arielle Taccad, an entertainment game night staff with the LA Clippers, emphasized how students should take advantage of their college experience and all the opportunities that CSUF offers. Alyssa Van Doornum, an associate producer at ESPN, explained how being respectful and cordial to others helps when looking for a position in the industry.
