The recent tour of SoFi Stadium organized by BTS (Behind the Scenes) gave CSUF students an exclusive glimpse into the world of sports and live events. Led by the organization's president, the tour aimed to expose students, particularly those in Entertainment and Hospitality Management/Entertainment and Tourism concentrations, to the intricacies of stadium architecture, event management, and the vibrant culture of Sofi Stadium.
Taking place on Mar. 22, a Friday afternoon, the tour attracted 57 eager participants who embarked on a comprehensive exploration of the state-of-the-art facility. From the legendary locker rooms of the LA Rams and Chargers to the expansive press conference rooms, attendees were immersed in the behind-the-scenes workings of a premier sports venue.
Student feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with one student remarking, “The tour's eye-opening nature and informative guides.”
Memorable moments they included experiencing the stadium's acoustics firsthand and marveling at the facilities used by their favorite NFL teams.
Students departed with a commemorative lanyard and a newfound appreciation for the diverse career opportunities within the entertainment industry. Overall, the SoFi Stadium tour proved to be an enriching and enjoyable experience for all involved, showcasing the potential for future collaborations between CSUF and prominent entertainment venues.
