NABJ’S blueprint to Black success panel

On Tuesday, April 23, the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) hosted an exciting panel discussion in the TSU as a part of Comm Week. This discussion shed light on the blueprint for success in various media fields. The event provided highly valuable insights and showcased the journeys of Armand Sadler, Lydia Kelly and Tim Jackson. These professionals shared multifaceted perspectives on what it takes to thrive in their fast-paced work environments. 

 

Among these amazing panelists was Sadler, a distinguished reporter known for his commitment to excellence and his infectious, joyous spirit. His presence on the panel was nothing short of inspiring. 

 

“I enjoyed attending the NAB J panel because It was nice hearing from industry professionals. Their advice is something that I will take with me And apply in my life,” said Erwin Amouzou, NABJ student. 

 

In addition to thoughtful discussions, students were treated to a spread of tasty food and refreshing beverages. These offerings provided the perfect complement to the festivities. Overall, this panel brought together accomplished professionals and provided a platform for knowledge sharing and networking. NABJ Serves as a catalyst for success in journalism. As aspiring journalists embark on their journey, they can reflect on this experience and draw inspiration from it.
