In order to get Titan Radio’s Street Team prepared, the organization held a blog writing workshop.

Titan Radio hosted a blog writing workshop to brainstorm writing ideas, answer stylistic questions and gauge what everyone is interested in writing about. Their website has not had many new blog posts, so Titan Radio took this chance to get their blog back up and running.

About 15 to 20 people showed up for the workshop, where they also gave away two pairs of concert tickets. The first pair was to Steve Aoki and the other was to see Drugdealer.

By submitting work to Titan Radio, students are not only practicing their writing skills but also building their portfolio since their work will be published.

“Writing blogs for us is extremely beneficial for having published work to share with employers and highlight on a resume,” said Lauren Sharp, communication intern for Titan Radio.

For anyone who missed this event, Titan Radio’s Street Team plans to host workshops once a month in their studio, located in the basement of Pollak Library, room PLS-51. The next event will be posted on Titan Radio’s Instagram.

“We allow students to write about whatever interests them and having this work on a professional, public website is a great piece of work to highlight!” Sharp said.
