Chloe Lau

Chloe Lau, Advertising


Chloe Lau is graduating this spring and will earn her degree in Communications with a concentration in Advertising. She currently is the director of marketing for the Daily Titan. She has been a part of the Daily Titan team for two and a half years. She thrived in Comm 351 class where her academic excellence and creative skills were on display. Chloe is the account planner for the 2022-2023 CSUF AAF National Student Advertising Competition team. She also currently serves as the secretary of CSUF’s AdClub, where she has played an active role for several years. Chloe is a positive role model and leader in the office and has worked diligently to support all aspects of the Daily Titan. Chloe has been successfully overseeing DT Fest for the past two semesters, an event that allows 15+ Daily Titan clients to interact with more than 1,000 CSUF students on campus.

Gabriel Valenzuela

Gabriel Valenzuela, Entertainment & Tourism Communications


Gabe Valenzuela has had a very active undergraduate experience in our concentration. Firstly, he is the current President of the Entertainment & Tourism Club. He has held multiple internship roles such as the Social Media & Marketing Manager intern at Titan Communications (Titan TV), Creative Alliance intern at Civic Nation, and Event Marketing intern at World of Dance. Gabe has also held multiple part-time roles including Student Assistant at the Department of Student Affairs with Tuffy’s Graduation Scholars (TGS), Samsung College Program Influencer with Youth Marketing Connection, and Attractions Host at the Disneyland Resort. Gabe was formerly the PR Specialist & Sponsorship Director for the Entertainment & Tourism Club and the Social Media Director for the Music Industry Club.

Alexis De La Cruz

Alexis De La Cruz, Journalism

 

During her time at Cal State Fullerton Alexis De La Cruz has taken on multiple roles to help increase her knowledge of the communications field and gain connections with peers and mentors. She is a past recipient of the Communications Department's Echeveste Family Scholarship and has been on the Dean’s list for the past three semesters while also juggling leadership roles and part-time jobs. De La Cruz has been the student assistant for the Latino Communications Institute and is the current student assistant for the Black CommUnity program. This year she is serving as the vice president for the Latino Journalists of CSUF and works as a staff reporter for the Daily Titan. De La Cruz has previously interned at Emily Blair Media where she built and updated media lists and wrote pitches for clients. She is currently interning for Underscore Talent, where she provides first-level responses and resolutions for guest/talent issues or concerns. Further evidencing her professional promise, she has been offered a full-time position as a partnerships manager at Underscore Talent after graduation.

Priyanka Jain

Priyanka Jain, Public Relations


Priyanka Jain is an outstanding student in the Public Relations concentration. Priyanka has been a member of CSUF PRSSA chapter since her freshman year, contributing greatly to the growth and success of the chapter and proving her dedication to the field of public relations. She has served on the CSUF PRSSA executive board for the last three years as Vice President of Administration, chapter Vice President, and currently serves as President. Last year, Priyanka served as a member of the PRSSA National social media subcommittee and Hospitality and Outreach director for Western District Conference. As a three-year member of the executive board, Priyanka has been an impactful leader who contributed significantly to the receipt of several national PRSSA honors including TWO Outstanding Chapter awards, the Community Service award, three Star Chapter awards, and the initial national affiliation and this year’s reaffiliation of Titan Public Relations. Her work to bring together members of PRSSA chapters throughout Southern California has strengthened membership among all chapters and has received the praise from National PRSSA leadership. She has completed several public relations-related internships since 2020 with agencies including Blend PR and JMG Public Relations, Revance Therapeutics, and her current internship with Taco Bell.
