In the vast landscape of entertainment and tourism, the role of social media has become a catalyst for success. From promoting destinations to engaging consumers with content across all social platforms. At California State University, Fullerton, the Entertainment and Tourism Club (ETC) recognizes the importance of social media and how it helps businesses.
On Apr. 10, ETC hosted a captivating social media marketing panel featuring industry professionals Jared Hansen, Crystal Ramirez and Alexis Flores. This event, held at the TSU, gave students valuable insights into harnessing the power of social media.
Each panelist brought a wealth of experience and expertise to the discussion. A former CSUF student, Flores is now a Casanova McCann social media and influencer relations manager. He shared his insights about the symbiotic relationship between influencers and brands with students. Flores has successfully catered to a diverse portfolio of clients, including industry giants such as Nestle, Coca-Cola, Chevrolet and Activision Blizzard.
Students were captivated by the wealth of knowledge and advice shared by esteemed professionals. From understanding the nuances of algorithm changes and post-grad life, attendees expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to learn.
ETC’s social media marketing panel provided an environment of success that brought together students and Industry professionals. This experience was transformative, and attendees departed with a new sense of purpose and a wealth of knowledge.
